She specializes in BIPOC mental health, ADHD, anxiety disorders, college mental health, and therapy for healthcare professionals (including therapists). Her other interests include working with people struggling with perfectionism, imposter syndrome, and achievement addiction. She has advanced training in treating anxiety disorders and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).
Dr. Enrique is passionate about providing culturally-responsive care that recognizes not just the individual, but the systems and contexts they are living within.
Dr. Nicole Enrique, Psy.D. (PSY32458) is the founder of Laguna Psychological Services. She received her B.A. in Psychology from University of California, Los Angeles, as well as her M.A. and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Azusa Pacific University.
She has worked with people of all ages in settings such as hospitals, colleges, and community health centers. This includes a neuropsychology externship at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, an APA-accredited internship at Lawndale Christian Health Centers and Meiers Clinics, as well as a post-doctoral fellowship at The Claremont Colleges. Prior to opening her private practice, Dr. Enrique was a psychologist and supervisor at CalState Fullerton.
